Focus Thron2 6.8 EQP Electric Mountain Bike
The Thron2 6.8 EQP Electric Mountain Bike from Focus adds some very useful integrated accessories to the already impressive Thron2 concept.
Bosch’s Performance CX Gen4 motor has 85Nm and 250W to add hill-crushing assistance up to 15.5 mph / 25 km/h and the large 750Wh (625Wh for size small) battery ensures plenty of power for longer days out. The battery can be removed from the downtube for more convenient charging and the frame includes a USB-C port for keeping devices charged up.
The aluminium frame offers 130mm of travel, matched by the SR Suntour Zeron 35 Air LOR fork for good off-road performance, with the F.O.L.D. kinematics nicely balancing sensitivity and bottom-out resistance. This gives the bike a stable feel on any terrain that helps with grip, control and confidence. Confidence is further bolstered by the inclusion of a dropper seatpost so that the saddle can be swiftly lowered for steeper or more challenging sections.
For riders who wish to take on more adventurous riding, or for those who want to use the bike as a means of transport, the Thron2 EQP’s mudguards and rack add an extra dimension to its capabilities. Furthermore, it is equipped with a dynamo-powered lighting system for safety and a kickstand for convenient parking.
4-piston SRAM DB8 hydraulic disc brakes add huge stopping power for when the bike is fully laden, and the Shimano drivetrain combines a 34t chainset with an 11-51t cassette so that there are plenty of ratios available to tackle any terrain. Big volume, grippy tyres ensure traction whatever the conditions or surface.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
