The Job
This is a unique opportunity to manage one of the largest Specialized Concept Stores in the UK. Now into it’s third year of trading we are looking for the right candidate to take the store to the next level. Owned and operated by Sigma Sport you will be working for a well established, forward thinking company and will receive the backup and support you need as you strive to reach your goals.
You will bring sound retail management experience which is likely to include managing teams of 5 - 10 individuals and turnover of £1m - £3m per year and a boundless energy and enthusiasm for cycling. You are a highly confident communicator and enjoy working towards targets, as well as having a hands-on approach towards daily store operations.
The role requires an individual who can ensure that the customer is at the centre of every decision and activity. Translating the brand vision of Specialized into local action, and building a team of talented, deeply engaged and proactive colleagues to deliver business objectives.
You will be driven by success and will look for innovative ways to maximise profitability, constantly pushing boundaries and raising the customer’s expectation and experience.

Mechanic (Full-Time)
Sigma Sport Store, Hampton Wick
You will need to be trained to Cytech level 2/3 with at least one year's experience in the building, servicing and maintenance of bikes (both road and off road) of a value of £1,000 or more. You must have good technical knowledge (including electronic groupsets), be aware of current MTB, road and commuter bike technology combined with an ability to work in a team in a very busy workshop. Exceptional customer service is paramount.

Salesperson (Part-Time)
Sigma Sport Store, Hampton Wick
Sigma Sport is the country's leading Road Cycling and Triathlon retailer. At our Hampton Wick flagship store we have an opportunity for the right candidate to join our team as a part-time salesperson.
On a day to day basis you will be dealing with customers on the shop floor selling bikes, clothing and accessories. You will be responsible for processing customer orders and dealing with sales enquiries via phone and email. You will also be responsible for the presentation and stock replenishment of a designated area of the store.
You should have excellent customer service skills, comprehensive product knowledge and good communication, you will need to be pro-active, flexible, work in an efficient manor and have good attention to detail. You must be able to work as part of a team, to remain calm under pressure and have a positive outlook. Finally you need be presentable and work in a clean and tidy manor.
Training in specific areas will be provided both in-store and with our suppliers to further enhance your product knowledge.
