4. Shipping and Handling for UK orders

We offer a variety of shipping options for UK delivery.

Reserve and Collect - This a great service that will ensure that the goods you require will be ready for collection from our Hampton Wick store. Please allow 48 hours for the items to be ready for collection. Note that for weekend collections - the latest time for reservations is Thursday at 1pm. If you wish to reserve an item with greater urgency please contact a member of the sales team directly at the shop. Your order will be reserved for 7 days - after which the order will be cancelled and the reserved items returned to stock.

• What to bring with you: Please print your order confirmation and bring to our store. In some cases, your payment will be reviewed and will require payment in store.
• To use this facility: Simply add the goods you wish to purchase to your shopping basket and proceed to the checkout page. Fill out the relevant information and select the 'Reserve and Collect' option from the delivery options. To complete your request, press the 'Place Here' button and your order will be completed.

Free Delivery - We offer a free delivery service on all orders over £10.00 shipped to the UK mainland. Our dispatch time for this service for in-stock items is 2-4 working days and delivery typically takes a further 2-5 working days. Orders with a value below £10.00 will be charged a flat fee of £2.50

Next Working Day - You can upgrade your order to a Next Working Day delivery service to the UK mainland for in-stock items for a flat fee. Your order must be placed by 3pm for UK Next Day delivery, orders placed after 3pm will take 1-2 working days.

Deliveries are made between 7am and 7pm and this service will require someone to be present to provide a signature upon delivery. Over 98% of Next Day orders are delivered on time, in the unlikely event that your delivery is not attempted next day, we'll refund all delivery charges.

Next Working Day delivery is only available on items in stock in our warehouse and excludes back orders. Next Day refers to the next working day, Bank Holidays will add an extra working day to the estimated delivery lead times. UK next day excludes Saturday deliveries. This service is not available to some remote postcode areas. Please contact us for help.

Please Note: Bicycles are subject to a thorough PDI inspection before they are shipped. Therefore, we are unable to offer any of our Next Day services on the purchase of bicycles.

Saturday Delivery

• Saturday Delivery £10.00 (below 2kg) £30.00 (above 2kg)

Saturday delivery orders must be placed by 3pm Friday and is only available on items in stock in our warehouse. Orders are prioritised through our warehouse and are delivered on Saturday by courier. Deliveries are made between 8am and 1pm and must be signed for upon delivery.

London Same Day Service - We offer a same day service to any London post code for in-stock items. This service costs a flat fee of £25.00 and orders must be placed by 1pm. This service will require someone to be present to provide a signature upon delivery. Please note this excludes bicycles.

5. Tax Charges

All prices on our website are shown inclusive of VAT at the current rate (where appropriate, some items like helmets and books are zero rated). Customers ordering from outside the EU are able to purchase goods free of tax.

6. Shipping and Handling for International Orders

We are able to send anything from a pair of gloves through to a complete bicycle virtually anywhere in the world. We ship our worldwide orders using Royal Mail or UPS to offer a rapid, secure service. Delivery times vary depending on destination, most orders will arrive within 10 days however in extreme cases that we cannot control, such as customs inspections or adverse weather conditions, please allow up to 30 days for international delivery.

Customers ordering from outside the EU are able to purchase goods free of tax. Please note that all credit cards will be charged in Sterling (GBP) and this will be converted to your local currency by your credit card provider.

All International orders weighing under 2kg are shipped using Royal Mail. You will be given the option to upgrade your shipping to an International Express Courier service at an additional cost dependant on the size and weight of your order.

All orders over 2kg are shipped using an International Express Courier. Bike frames and wheels and other bulky items will often appear to weigh far more than expected because these packages are charged at volumetric rates - i.e. you pay for how big the box is and not how much it weighs. To see an accurate shipping charge you need to load your basket and perform the checkout process - the final shipping charge will be shown at the stage BEFORE you commit the payment. All import tax charges (if applicable) are the responsibility of the buyer.

7. BFPO Orders

We're happy to be able to deliver to BFPO addresses VAT-free. In order to deduct the VAT, we need you to provide a letter on headed paper from your Commanding Officer stating that you're serving overseas and are entitled to be exempt from UK VAT. Once we've received this letter we'll confirm that we're able to process your orders without VAT.

The easiest way to proceed with placing a BFPO order is to send us a scanned copy of your CO's letter to websales@sigmasport.co.uk and we'll be in touch to tell you what the next steps are.

Note: Please include your email address and we'll contact you as soon as possible to help you get your order placed. Please be aware that BFPO do not accept parcels over 30kg in weight (HM Ships - 11kg) and/or 1.05mtrs in length. Any items outside these dimensions cannot be processed via BFPO.

8. Controlled Shipments

Some items are not able to be shipped to certain areas; pressurised containers and liquids cannot generally be shipped to overseas destinations. Some manufacturers also impose specific requirements: Trek bicycles, Specialized bicycles, Rapha Clothing, Focus Bikes, cannot be shipped but can be collected from our shop.

9. Online Security

All transactions made on www.sigmasport.co.uk are made on our secure server. This is housed at our hosting company's offices behind a firewall for both electronic and physical security. All traffic to and from you (the user) is encrypted and is extremely unlikely to be decrypted by a third party. When operating in a secure mode, a browser will display the URL (web address) beginning "https" (the "s" stands for secure) rather than the standard "http" as well as showing some form of security symbol such as a padlock.

For the protection of our customers we continually monitor our systems and procedures to ensure that our business is fully PCI Compliant. One of the requirements for compliance is that credit card details are never transmitted insecurely. Although you can email or fax orders to us we ask that you never include your card details in them. We will only accept payment by credit card over the telephone, via our website or in person.

15. Right to Cancel

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 which came into force on 31 October 2000 provide statutory backing for the good business practices which Sigma Sport already observe. The regulations allow a consumer to return any products (except custom orders) ordered by mail / phone / fax or internet from Sigma Sport Ltd within 7 working days (starting the day after delivery) for a full refund.

16. Warranty Policy

We guarantee every product we sell. If you have a problem we will do our best to sort it out. Most items carry a one year warranty and certain items come with more, so check the literature supplied to see what terms apply. We will generally replace defective merchandise within the first 30 days and repair or replace at our discretion after then. Some manufacturers ask that you deal direct with them for warranty issues so it is important that you contact us prior to returning any products. You will be responsible for the return postage costs.
