Four great reasons to buy your bike from Sigma Sports
Sigma Sports has one objective - to help you find your perfect bike. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff ask you a series of questions to understand what type of rider you are and the type of riding you do. We can then identify the style of bike that best suits your needs.
Riding a bike that fits you perfectly will help keep you injury-free and ensure you enjoy riding further for longer in total comfort. We check your measurements on a jig to ensure your optimal set-up.
When you collect your new bike we'll double-check your position and make any micro-adjustments if required. We'll also discuss the controls on your bike as well as maintenance tips.
Cyclescheme can save you up to 39% on a bike and accessories. Visit our Cycle to Work Scheme page to learn more and claim.
Focus Cayo Aluminium Disc 105 Road Bike 2016
Combining value and performance like no other bike, the Focus Cayo Aluminium Disc 105 Road Bike 2016 features a light and strong triple butted aluminium frame alongside a carbon fibre fork.
Not willing to compromise on quality just because they are using an aluminium frame, Focus have opted for a lightweight and strong V3 alloy that rivals many pricier carbon models in terms of lightness and strength. With internally routed cables this frameset offers protection and shifting that is not effected by the outside elements. The aluminium frame also features Focus' tapered headtube technology, which reduces steering weight while also increasing stiffness.
One of the things setting this bike out from the crowd, other than its superb price tag, is the inclusion of Shimano's RS505 hydraulic disc brakes. These light yet super-strong brakes offer a reliable and graduated stopping power that is perfect for epic descents when you have to rely most heavily on your stopping power.
For the groupset, Focus have chosen to use the smooth and ever-reliable Shimano 105 gearing. The most popular road groupset that Shimano offer, the 11-speed 105 5800 groupset is normally reserved for much pricier bikes so finding it on this Focus Cayo Aluminium 105 Road Bike 2016 is a more than welcome bonus.
The wheelset is yet another area where Focus have opted for a loftier level of performance. The Concept EX with DT Swiss R522 rim provides light and fast rolling credentials, ideal for every day use over any type of terrain.
It is easy to see why the Focus Cayo Aluminium Disc 105 Road Bike 2016 is turning so many heads. Its value to performance ratio is unbeatable and the added bonus of hydraulic disc brakes makes this a bike that is difficult to beat at this price point.
