ENVE, speed and performance are all synonymous and the ENVE 4.5 SES Clincher Wheelset ENVE Carbon Hub certainly embody this association. The 4.5 SES version is the perfect midpoint between the all-out aerodynamics of the 7.8 SES and the climbing prowess of the 3.4 SES wheels. With the 4.5 SES Wheelset, you get the best of both worlds.

The SES rim profile has been designed to provide the best possible speed and stability. The 48mm front and 56mm rear rim depths are designed to create minimal air turbulence; guiding air around the wheel and bike with the minimal drag profile. Combined with this is the wide 18.5 and 17mm internal rim widths. This width provides extra stability and greater tyre traction both on the flat and in tight and fast corners.

Braking performance has been a real focus in the development of the SES 4.5 rims. The textured and reinforced surface is designed to create increased friction and heat dissipation between the pad and the rim, allowing for elevated and equal braking performance in both the wet and the dry.

ENVE's new carbon hubs have been the subject of much admiration thanks to their incredibly low weight, weighing in at just 231g for the pair (72g front and 159g rear). Ultra stiff and strong, the hubs feature moulded in spoke holes and a carbon weave lay-up designed to heighten rigidity and reduce torsional flexibility.

The rear hub features DT Swiss 1800 internals and Shimano/SRAM and Campagnolo compatible versions are available.
