A transparent rain cape is a classic racer’s piece. But Castelli weren’t satisfied with the thought of wearing an old-style rain cape that’s essentially a plastic bag. So they made it breathable with their Transparent Compact waterproof membrane and added a bit of stretch. Then they made all the details just right, from the high collar to the zippered pocket opening for access to your jersey pockets. And they kept it small enough to fit in half a jersey pocket. Then when it was perfect Castelli's racers cut the sleeves off! So Castelli did too.
