Lodestar Coffee

Clapton

The gateway into the Essex and Hertfordshire lanes, Lodestar Coffee is in their words, 'here for good coffee and conversations' and who are we to argue? Located in Clapton, North London this cafe prides itself on serving fine beverages, in a warm and welcoming environment. Zack and Molly rolled out to Lodestar to sample both for Soigneur.

Molly and Zack

For our first North London entry in our Soigneur guide, Sigma Sports staff member, Zack and The Phoenix Collective rider Molly, took a spin out to Lodestar Coffee for a mid-week leg loosener.

Here's what they had to say:

“Lodestar offers a peaceful haven from the busy Clapton High Street. Perfect for a pre ride coffee to set you up for the Essex lanes, Lodestar has an inviting atmosphere curated by the friendly and personable baristas. The cafe has a cosy back room where you can shelter from the typically wet British weather, refuelling on pastel de natas and almond croissants before heading home.” - Molly

"We have a lot of good speciality coffee places in and around Hackney, but Lodestar really stands out. Espresso made right and pastries to keep you coming back again and again. I can’t recommend them enough." - Zack
