Being race ready does not make this unrideable for us mere mortals, in fact the endurance geometry combined with the Zertz inserts makes for a frameset that will encourage you to ride beyond where you thought possible.

New and improved the Specialized S-Works Roubaix SL4 Frameset 2015 is the choice of many professional cyclists when the terrain gets tough and a comfortable, reliable and responsive frame is called for. Made from the latest SL4 FACT 11r carbon fibre to make a frame incredibly stiff yet also dampens the road buzz. A size specific engineered fork is a clever touch for a truly spectacular handling bike, whatever frame size you ride.

Using Specialized's state of the art 11r FACT carbon fibre and Zertz inserts the frame is both ultra-responsive, stiff and comfortable.

The headtube, slightly taller than an outright race bike, improves long distance comfort, as does the FACT full carbon fork. Giving the rider a good balance between a comfortable and aggressive ride.

Endurance Road Geometry sets this bike apart from the rest of Specialized’s road bike range. Giving a more relaxed position, ideal for epic 100 mile sportives but still feeling direct and lively enough if you want to sprint over a climb or push it hard round a hairpin corner.

Specialized’s fantastic Zertz system dampens rough roads and is used in the seatstays and fork, providing a smooth ride. This is the same shock absorption technology used on Boonen’s race bike.

The major development and investment in the new OSBB bottom bracket, one-piece shell, was obviously well spent and therefore here to stay. This is thanks to it being stiffer than ever before and providing uncompromised power delivery straight through the pedals onto the road. No watts will be wasted with this frame. This is the same one-piece shell that is used in the sensational, top of the range, S-Works bikes.

The single bolt, Specialized CG-R, FACT carbon seatpost gives the rider an armchair ride, however rough the road is.

A fantastic sportive, endurance frameset, with numerous racing victories to it’s name as well as professional rider input running through it’s tubes.
