Specialized Roubaix Expert Road Bike 2017
Enjoy long rides on the bike but want that extra bit of comfort without sacrificing speed? The Specialized Roubaix Expert Road Bike 2017 has you covered no matter where the road takes you thanks to its new Future Shock suspension, which Specialized have developed alongside the McLaren F1 team.
Future Shock suspension acts as a piston in the head tube to offer 20mm of travel. This is ideal for rough roads as it improves vertical compliance by eliminating fork splay. This ultimately means, rather than you bike losing energy over bumps, it can absorb the shock and move smoothly through them. In the Specialized's Rolling Efficiency Model the Roubaix outperformed any other bike on the market, so expect a seriously smooth and fast ride.
Future Shock suspension combines with Specialized's premium FACT 10r carbon and a new seatpost clamping construction that adds torsional compliance for added comfort whilst you are sitting in the saddle and putting the power down.
If you are going to be spending a lot of time on the bike, then you are going to want a groupset that you can rely on. Shimano's Ultegra 6800 11-speed mechanical groupset provides just this with a compact chainset that is designed to give you a ratio capable of powering up steep gradients.
DT R460 Disc wheels offer tubeless-ready conversion and a lightweight and versatile depth profile that combines aerodynamic performance with a low weight.
A further added advantage of the new Roubaix is SWAT storage over the bottom bracket. this offers sleek and aerodynamic storage for items such as a mini tool, inner tube and tyre levers.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
