Specialized Rhyme Comp 650b Disc Womens Mountain Bike 2017
As one of the most cost-efficient trail-specific women's mountain bikes on the market, the Specialized Rhyme Comp 650b Womens Mountain Bike 2017 is the ideal choice for any rider looking to either take their riding to the next level or step foot into the world of mountain biking. Everything from the lightweight, durable, women's specific frame to the capable components have been selected to provide the ideal blend of affordability and trail-shredding performance.
Specialized are well known for their lightweight frames, and the Specialized M5 alloy Trail Chassis with a Rhyme FSR 650b rear end pays testament to this. It commands a low weight, meaning you get all the snappy, responsive handling you want for a fraction of the price of a carbon frame. The 148mm spacing improves stiffness in the rear end, too - ensuring that when you’re climbing harsher gradients, no power is lost through flex of the rear hub.
The Trail 650b Geometry further enhances this by tightening up the geometry for a more forgiving ride, whilst the 150mm of travel provided by a custom RockShox Revelation RL front fork soaks up any on-trail bumps and big hits, allowing you to plow over rock gardens and take on any feature you set your eyes on.
SRAM Guide R hydraulic disc brakes are a staple diet on trail riders’ bikes thanks to their great heat modulation and immense, reliable braking power. The disc brakes perform at their optimum level in both the wet and the dry, so it doesn’t matter if you’re heading out when the weather starts to take a turn for the worst - you’ll be safe with these hydraulic disc brakes.
SRAM’s GX drivetrain has been recruited, too. This drivetrain offers a wide range of 11-gears that give both the spin you need to climb technical terrain and the power to surge along the flats. Connected via a RaceFace Aeffect crankset that’s strong and withstands rock strikes better than any other crankset at this price point, the entire drivetrain is truly ready to perform on the highest level.
Specialized took their wheelset in-house for the Rhyme Comp 650b - and offer the rider a strong, stable base to manoeuvre the trail with. The Specialized Butcher and Slaughter 650bx2.3” tyres further enhance this, increasing grip, control and puncture resistance for a more reliable and enjoyable ride.
Finished with a Specialized Command Post IRCC dropper seatpost, you are now able to chop and change your position at a moment's notice. The dropper post provides 10-12 micro-height adjustments on the trail, at the flick of a button.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
