Keep your feet warm and dry this winter without sacrificing any of the performance that you would expect from Sidi with their Avast Rain Road Shoe. Water resistant and windproof, these shoes have a higher ankle guard for a heightened level of protection form the elements.

The high level of performance is maintained in large part thanks to the Millennium 4 Carbon composite sole. This stiff sole offers complete waterproofness plus and optimised level of flex in the toe region for power generation. The three hole cleat mounting will fit Shimano SPD-SL cleats and Look Keo cleats. The inclusion of a durable replaceable heel pad allows you to walk with confidence on the shoe at coffee stops or at the start line.

The upper is where the Sidi Avast Rain Road Shoe really comes into its own. The inclusion of a Gore-Tex rain membrane helps to keep the worst of the weather out whilst also ensuring intelligent insulation and moisture wicking. Sidi's reinforced heel cup helps to hold your foot in the optimal position and they also to keep the shoe's shape and stiffness through prolonged extreme use.

For the closure Sidi wanted to ensure that your foot was sealed off from the elements while still allowing for adjustability and foot support. The combination of the caliper buckle and two high security Velcro straps means that you can make finite adjustments while you ride and overall foot security is ensured.
