Shimano XT M788 Disc Centre-Lock Hub 32H 12mm Thru-axle

Weighing in at 357g, this Shimano XT M788 Disc Centre-Lock Hub 32H 12mm Thru-axle is certainly lighter than most other hubs on the market, at a very affordable price too. Without sacrificing on performance, Shimano have built a truly solid body alongside Shimano’s Cup and Cone bearing system, keeping the body well sealed from the elements.

Choosing a thru-axle over a quick releases also has its advantages. A thru-axle offer increased stiffness and tracking, not to mention the peace of mind not having to worry about whether your quick release is tight enough.
