As the same wheel used by Shimano's sponsored World Tour riders, you know the Shimano Dura-Ace C60 R9100 Tubular 60mm Rear Wheel offers something special. With its all-carbon construction, this wheel is able to offer an ultra-low weight, high levels of strength and stiffness and world-class aerodynamic performance.
The rim is 28mm wide, which boosts tubular wheel traction and cornering stability while also elevating the aerodynamic profile of the wheel. The all-carbon rim construction and braking surface offers stiffness and aerodynamic performance while the carbon braking surface has been specially designed to perform in the wet and the dry, with the help of water displacement technology.
At the freehub, Shimano has integrated quick pawl engagement that engages every 10˚ to ensure that you can get the power down as soon as you press on the pedals. Rigidity and strength are maintained with the cold forged alloy construction and oversized 7075 alloy axle.
