Having already claimed its place in the history books Scott's Scale RC 900 SL HMX Mountain Bike Frameset boasts improved stiffness, lower weights and intuitive handling performance. Inheriting geometry and material technology from its high-end sibling, the Scale uses the rigorously tested and developed HMX SL carbon to deliver an incredibly lightweight rigid frame without compromising performance in handling or comfort.

Known for their super lightweight frames, Scott's carbon experts have developed a fibre that provides 20% extra stiffness and is around 14% lighter than the industry standard HMF carbon. Implementing this aerospace grade carbon into their frame building results in greater lateral stiffness for improved power transfer, and makes your ride better.

With enhanced strength, this HMX carbon enables a more efficient frame design. The thinner chain and seatstays provide a measured amount of flex for improved damping and comfort. The ergonomically shaped seat tube that unnoticeably flexes whilst you pedal also promotes an enhanced comfort and efficiency. Proving itself to be an exceptionally compliant hardtail, with improved overall speed and comfort, the Scale RC900 is sure to improve your performance and experience out on the trail.
