Riding through winter calls for a tyre that can keep up, and Schwalbe have really got it right with the S-ONE Evo MicroSkin TL-Easy 700x30C Road Tyre. Constructed with integrated V-Guard protection and as Schwalbe claim, a MicroSkin, this tyre provides reduced rolling resistance whilst also increasing puncture protection - making it ideal for riding through winter.
V-Guard is an extremely puncture-resistant, high-tech fibre that makes this tyre sit a cut above the rest through rougher seasons, but doesn’t add any weight or reduce its abilities when you’re pushing it to the limit. In fact, through Schwalbe’s renowned construction techniques, they’ve actually reduced the weight compared to the 28mm version by 50g (per tyre).
Thanks to the MicroSkin, which is supple and also increases comfort, turning the S-ONE tubeless is incredibly easy. Instead of a tough sidewall that reduces comfort, which most tubeless ready tyres are known for, the sidewall is actually soft, making it as easy as a standard tyre when changing it over.
