Schwalbe are renowned for making resilient, fast and puncture proof tyres. They are so popular that professional cycling teams such as Trek Factory Racing, AG2R and FDJ are clambering to get their hands on them. Christophe Riblon took it to victory on the iconic Alpe d’Huez stage and made Schwalbe the must have race tyre. Using a state of the art OneStar triple compound it results in a tyre offering amazing levels of grip, low rolling resistance and durability. The OneStar triple compound offers low rolling resistance and is amazingly resistant to cuts. This makes the One significantly more puncture proof than the most other road tyres.
The technicians at Schwalbe produced over 50 prototypes, extensively tested them to create the One, the perfect balance of speed, wet adhesion and durability.
Although slightly heavier than the Ultremo ZX, at 205 grams, the advanced technology more than makes up for the extra few grams.
