Harnessing accurate and reliable power measurement is essential for any cyclist serious about their riding. The new Rotor INpower 3D30 Left Crank Arm allows riders to do just that with their new axle bassed-power meter system. All of the electronics are housed within the Rotor axle and are thus protected from shock, temperature fluctuations and the outside elements. This allows for a more accurate and reliable collection of data. A slightly less aggressive shape and construction than the 3D+ model, the 3D30 provides the perfect option those looking to begin training with power.

When developing the INpower 3D30, Rotor wanted to ensure the most reliable power reading across all cycling disciplines and the utilisation of the axle-based system has enabled them to do this. The system is powered by a single AA battery that provides over 300 hours of battery life - the equivalent of riding the three annual Grand Tours back-to-back.

The 30 millimetre axle that houses all of the electronics is compatible with the vast majority of frames on the market and a UBB30 axle system is included. This advanced system allows you to analyse both TORQUE 360 and Optimum Chainring Angle (OCA). OCA allows you to see how much force you are putting through the pedal through the entire stroke so you can optimise your pedal stroke motion. TORQUE 360 provides a visualisation of your power through the pedal stroke so you can strive for the holy grail peanut shape power graph. Sophisticated metrics like 'Torque Effectiveness' and 'Pedal Smoothness' determine total torque versus positive torque and average power versus maximum power respectively.

This the left arm is compatible with any Rotor 30 millimetre right cranks and any Rotor chainring set up including the revolutionary Q-Ring. The INpower system is ANT+ compatible and so can be used with a wide range of bicycle computers.

All of the data you collect can be tracked and analysed using the free and intuitive INpower software downloaded from the Rotor website. The sleek and stylish black colour scheme of the crankset ensures is fits seamlessly into any bike setup.
