Reynolds 58 Aero Carbon Clincher Front Wheel
Featuring a 58mm deep carbon fibre rim, the Reynolds 58 Aero Carbon Clincher Front Wheel is for fast training rides or races. Neither shallow nor super deep, this front wheel is ideal for hilly courses or pairing with Reynold's 72mm rear wheel for an agile and aerodynamic wheelset.
This wheel uses 16 spokes are held in place with internal 5mm Hex nipples, which are easy to access yet are integrated to further enhance the wheel's low drag credentials.
Handling and weight have not been compromised for aero efficiency, with the front wheel using a DET™ rim shape. This reduces drag and improves stability in crosswinds. The ISH (Integrated Step Hook) technology on the rim, optimises airflow and increases lateral stiffness.
Braking performance in the dry or the wet needn't be an issue with the CTg brake track. The wheel is supplied with Reynolds Cryo-Blue brake pads, designed specifically for these rims and the BWI (Brake Wear Indicator) gives you a clear indication on when the rim is wearing out.
DET™ Dispersive Effect Termination providing an aerodynamic profile, enhanced for flat out efforts on the flat, while keeping the wheel stable in the wind.
A clincher setup allows you to pair the wheelset with a wide range of tyres.
