Developed in the mountain running region of the Swiss Alps, the On Running Cloudventure Midtop Womens Running Shoes are the ultimate trail shoe, perfect for the mountains. Offering stability and comfort, they remain lightweight and feel energetic, helping you to get up those hills faster.

The outsole is constructed from innovative CloudTec pods found on all On Running shoes and, during foot strike, these open rubber spaces compress and then spring back to absorb impact, for a responsive feel. The pods are particularly beneficial when running downhill, where impact is increased, so you can go faster for longer, and over rough terrain.

There are four distinct levels of grip in the sole, for confidence whether running uphill or downhill, or traversing, perfect for that mountain terrain and in changeable weather conditions. A reinforced sole means that you don't have to worry about rocky ground and the possible risk of injury.

There is a dual-layer construction to the upper, with a stiff shell around a stretchy, seamless inner bootie from the mid foot forwards, for independent movement to the rear of the shoes. The result is excellent support, with extra protection from water and debris.
