Suited to shredding trails, the Mavic XA Light 27.5 MTB Wheelset 2018 has been designed with Mavic's high quality standards to deliver an affordable wheelset for those who want to venture further into the trail riding spectrum with lightweight efficiency.
Honing and developing a light entry level wheelset that meets the demands of modern day trails, Mavic have constructed the featured rim from lightweight yet durable S6106 aluminium. With a 25mm wide profile that accommodates tyre widths between 1.1" and 2.5" you can be assured of speedy advantages with sufficient traction to roll you around fast corners with ease.
Laced with a crossed two pattern to reduce inertia, this wheelset effectively and comfortably dampens trail impacts and vibrations without affecting the overall strength of the wheelset. Hosting the reliable TS-2 hub, you'll be assured to accelerate up hills with efficient speed. Lightweight and durable, the hub contains two internal pawls with a rigid aluminium monobloc axle that aids in power transfers.
Featuring a UST rim design, this wheelset accommodates both clincher and tubeless tyres, leaving you the option to utilise a tubeless setup with benefits of increased traction control, comfort and puncture resistance.
