Mavic Cosmic Ultimate II Road Shoe
The Mavic Cosmic Ultimate II Road Shoes are one of the lightest road shoes on the market, with a carbon outsole and super thin construction. Although the shoes are incredibly light, they don’t skip out on remaining stiff, providing a highly-efficient power transfer between shoe and pedal.
Weighing only 240g per shoe, the Cosmic Ultimate II Road Shoes includes Mavic’s Energy Frame and heel lock, which contributes towards the stiffness of the sole. Energy Lock technology provides excellent heel hold by creating a vacuum-like fitting, ensuring your foot doesn’t move at all when in the shoe, whilst the Energy Frame creates an ultra supportive frame for the maximum foothold.
Comfort isn’t something that’s affected or compromised by keeping this shoe lightweight and stiff. Mavic’s Ergo 3D tongue is incorporated due to its cushioning and breathability around the top of the foot, whilst the Ergo Fit 3D+ Ortholite® inner soles vary in density, providing support around the heel and arch for stability.
