The Mavic Cosmic Pro Carbon SL UST Disc 6 Bolt Wheelset 2018 provides unrivalled performance thanks to its wide and rounded design, keeping you stable in all situations including strong crosswinds. The 25mm wide NACA 40mm deep airfoil rims offer exceptional aerodynamics by allowing smooth tyre integration with the wider, more efficient UST tyres.
Thanks to the rim profile and carbon fibre construction, you get a lightweight, stiff and fast ride, allowing maximum power transfer, ideal for carrying speed in fast-paced rides and races alike. The ID360 freewheel is also key to the wheels performance, engaging instantly and helping you return to speed rapidly out of corners.
Mavic have smartly adapted to the constraints of discs, shaving weight off the rims by removing the reinforced brake track found on non-disc variants. The 24 spoke count helps distribute torque evenly, keeping the bike stable when decelerating rapidly. Additionally, the bolt thru-axles offer further stiffness and stability, invaluable when riding a fast course on the limit.

Please note: Mavic wheels have a +/- 5% variance in weight. For improved longevity of the wheel, Mavic recommends that the total weight supported by the wheels doesn't exceed 120kg, bike included.
Please note: The manufacturer does not recommend using latex inner tubes with carbon clincher wheels. Using latex tubes may void your warranty. This wheelset is shipped with 12 x 142mm thru-end caps as standard. In order to make it QR compatible, part numbers V25108 and V26803 are required as well as skewers M40351 and M40350.
