Favoured for the toughest classics races, the Mavic Cosmic Pro Carbon SL Tubular Wheelset 2018 presents desirable ride performance thanks to the high-quality construction, resulting in a lightweight rigid wheelset perfect for high-speed pursuits and challenging hill climbs.
Exceptionally lightweight, the 3k carbon fibre moulded rim offers high lateral stiffness with reduced inertia for improved power outputs and ride quality. This super light rim integrates perfectly with wider tyres, improving tyre form and structure for superior handling in terms of cornering control and reduced rolling resistance in an array of conditions. The aerodynamic 40mm rim depth reduces drag whilst remaining stable through both head and crosswinds.
Mavic have utilised their iTgMAX braking track, by laser machining a rough textured finish into their seamless one piece rim, ensuring excellent braking efficiency when manoeuvring high-speed descents or sprints.
Laced radially at the front and with Isopulse at the rear, you can be assured of exceptionally stiff quality that responds to power fuelled pedal strokes with reduced flex and optimal power transfers.
Equipped to reward each rider input with smooth responsive power outputs, the Instant Drive 360 freewheel responds to even 9 degrees of rotation for quick successive accelerations, so you can push up mountains with less force and sprint through flats at greater speeds.
Prepped and raring to go, this stylish wheelset comes fitted with Yksion Pro GripLink front and PowerLink rear tyres, providing an excellent balance between reduced rolling resistance and traction for speedy and confident rides.
