A favourite amongst the professional peloton, Look created the first clipless pedal. No surprise then that their latest incarnation, the Look Keo 2 Max Blade CroMo Pedal is just as revolutionary as the first. The injected composite fibreglass body and blade improve clipping in and out and give a faster engagement than the Keo 2 Max pedal without being as snappy as the Keo Blade 2 pedal.

There are two pedal tension options available. One offering 8Nm while the other offers 12Nm.

Look's bladed design does not just look good, it is designed to improve air flow and aerodynamics as well.

The chromoly and steel axle is strong, stiff and lightweight and the inclusion of 2 ball and 1 needle bearings, have been taken from the Keo Blade 2. This improves durability and reliability.

Power will not be wasted with this pedal as the use of a 400 millimetre stainless steel platform puts it between the Keo 2 Max and Keo Blade 2 in size, offering a large surface area for excellent power transfer.

An adjustable Q-factor setting means you can set up your cleats in the correct position to create a fluid pedalling action and to reduce the chances of injury. The 14 millimetre axle length can be adjusted, using an optional spacer (not included), by 2 millimetres to achieve the perfect fit and increases the pedal to crank arm distance from 53 to 55 millimetres.

Weighing in at 120 grams each, this is a lightweight addition to any road, time trial or triathlon bike.
