Knight Composites 95 Carbon Clincher Rim

Used in Knight Composites flagship aerodynamic wheelset, the 95 Carbon Clincher Rim will help you achieve your best times and bring you closer to that podium position. This rim is exceptionally aerodynamic with a 95mm depth and an EPS moulded carbon fibre construction that improves strength and resilience, whilst keeping the weight down.

This rim was developed in a wind tunnel and creates a - 112-gram' sail effect', in other words, negative drag, so you slice through the wind with more ease. The Trailing Edge Aerodynamic Manipulation (TEAM) rim profile was developed using an innovative approach to improving aerodynamics - looking at the wheels trailing edge and focussing on how airflow moves away from a wheel and across the bike and rider. This improves the frame's aerodynamic efficiency by optimising the airflow's shape over the frame for the best air trajectory. To enhance stability in crosswinds, there is a more gentle progression of shape from the front of the rim all the way to the tyre.

The external rim width of 28.25mm makes this ideal for use with 25 - 28mm tyres, for reduced rolling resistance and vibration damping. As well as being packed with performance features, this rim looks the part and will complement any bike setup.
