Inspired by the design aesthetic of Giro's premium Synthe helmet, the Cinder MIPS Road Helmet presents a lightweight construction, featuring high-end components and technology to homogeneously develop a top-performing, comfortable and protective helmet suited to the avid riders who hit the roads day in and day out with full effort and power.

The utilisation of a weight-saving in-mould process delivers a lightweight construction that leaves room for improved ventilation and integral strength. The impact damping EPS foam liner, fused with a tough polycarbonate shell, conceals a Thermoformed Roll Cage to ensure that in the event of an impact the helmet securely keeps its shape and resists shattering.

With improved strength, the in-mould process allows for a design with greater vents; 26 to be exact. Combine these 26 vents with the internal channelling and the result is a system that provides a constant flow of air over the top of the head, with superior cooling effects and excellent breathability.

Lightweight and secure, the Roc Loc 5 fitting system provides a customisable fit through the use of a micro-adjustable dial and fore-aft tilt ability, meaning you can achieve a luxurious fit perfect for your individual head shape.

Meeting the demands of modern-day riding, Giro has fitted the MIPS lining to meet and surpass the stringent safety standard. Designed to take into account that impacting falls aren't always head-on and consist of rotational forces, the MIPS liner dissipates the rotational impact energy to reduce the chances of harming the brain.
