Fizik Antares R3 K:ium Saddle
The Fizik Antares R3 K:ium Saddle features K:ium rails that are made from a particular metal alloy with a specific tubular design that increases fatigue performance. K:ium rails are also 8% lighter than titanium rails, this help the saddle to remain under 200 grams, weighing in at only 195 grams.
The Shell of the Antares is made from Fibreglass Thermoplastic Composite that offers fantastic strength to weight ratio, whilst Fizik's wing Flex Technology ensures that there is some give in the saddle where you need it most (where your thighs make contact with the saddle).
The shape and profile of the Fizik Antares R3 has been designed for cyclist with intermediate flexibility. Fizik call this group of riders 'Chameleons' in their Spine Concept guidelines. The Antares offers a slight curve and wide rear section to offer increased support.
The Antares is covered in Fizik's Microtex material that is soft, supple and hard wearing. The Microtex used on Fizik saddles also perfectly matches their range of Microtex bar tape, a must for the style conscious.
