ENVE M50 Generation II 29" MTB Rim
The ENVE M50 Generation II 29" MTB Rim has been designed for one thing and one thing only: to go fast. It’s constructed from ENVE’s uncompromising carbon fibre that ensures the overall weight of your bike is dramatically lowered, but doesn’t shy away from incredible rigidity, efficiency or responsive, explosive acceleration.
Developed specifically for cross country racing or for the cross country riding fanatic, this rim features a ride quality defined by vertical compliance that is unparalleled in rims of this nature. It improves efficiency over rough terrain and aims to prevent fatigue caused by long, hard hours in the saddle.
The 50/50 name on the rim describes ENVE’s approach to this product, meaning it’s designed for 50% descending and 50% climbing. For this reason, it weighs just 370g, but provides the durability of a winter tyre that’s ready to take on the toughest of trails.
By eliminating the bead hook from the top of the rim sidewall, ENVE M-Series rims have a more reliable seal, which reduces the possibility of burping with tubeless tyres. The hookless bead design also mechanically improves durability and impact resistance. M-Series rims are not only stronger than previous models, but lighter and stiffer than their first-generation predecessors.
