With over 60 years experience designing and manufacturing bikes, the V2-R Art Décor Road Frameset is Colnago's latest creation. Lightweight, rigid and aerodynamic, it has been based on the V1-R although there are a number of design improvements, whilst the top-quality manufacturing techniques and construction remain. With aggressive geometry and a high-quality carbon-fibre monocoque frame and fork, this bike is responsive, with sharp and agile handling, making it a great all-round option. The redesign has made the frame 13% stiffer at the bottom bracket and 4% stiffer at the head tube and, being extremely light, it is perfect for riding uphill fast, with excellent power transfer so you can give it your all and sprint for those podium positions.

Designed for fitting disc brakes with flat mount calipers and a thru-axle design, you can take advantage of powerful braking so riding technical courses and descending at speed become a little less hairy. Carbon monocoque rear dropouts with an internally-mounted, replaceable derailleur hanger reduce weight whilst significantly improving strength and longevity.

The seat tube diameter of 27.2mm has remained and the aerodynamic profile reduces drag, however the seat clamp has a new, integrated design which improves the already aesthetically pleasing style of this bike. Other changes include a redesigned top tube and head tube junction. The port for internally routing cables has been moved to the top of the down tube; a design taken from the Concept frame.

The TheadFit82.5 bottom bracket standard is as reliable as a threaded BSA bottom bracket with the rigidity of a PressFit. Replaceable sleeves press into the bottom bracket and this standard is compatible with all PressFit 86.5 (BB86) bearings.

There is clearance for wider tyres up to 28mm and this high-performance frameset is packed with features to make it the perfect base for building your dream bike.
