Fully handmade in Italy, the Colnago C60 Limited Edition Dual Routed Frameset (High Geometry) is a carbon fibre, dual routed frameset that will help you perform at your highest level whether racing, training or just out for a long club ride. This is a bike built for performance but is also packed with features for comfort. This version is 'high geometry', with a taller head tube for a more comfortable ride.

Forged, one-piece dropouts are a new feature for the C60. Made of alloy, they are strong and reliable yet still come in lighter than many carbon fibre dropouts whilst being comparable in stiffness and strength. Their lateral rigidity gives them strength in demanding situations and in the event of a crash the hangar is likely to get damaged rather than the dropouts, making for easier replacement. Even the smallest details have been considered across the whole frame and on the dropouts this means that the drive-side has been milled to route electronic groupset cables so there is no interference with the quick release lever when changing wheels.

The headtube uses the Colnago star design through the whole length of the tubes to where the tubes meet the lugs and this makes for an extremely laterally stiff front triangle and distribution of impact forces being more even, improving comfort over rough terrain.

There is a new, oversized downtube with thinner tubing and increased lateral stiffness, and the star shaped profile distributes negative forces from the road.

Another first for Colnago, who are known for their innovative design, is an asymmetrical seat tube to increase strength and reduce weight. The bottom bracket has been beefed up for the ultimate lateral stiffness and the star shaped tube inserts distribute stress. The internal cable routing is integral to the bottom bracket junction and forms structural ribs which increase strength in areas where it is needed most.

The desire to provide the rider with the most comfortable ride continues on the chainstays with internally ribbed tubing providing immense lateral stiffness, yet the tapered shape, which seamlessly narrows towards the dropouts, provides a small degree of upwards flexion and dampens road buzz. The resulting vertical compliance also improves handling and allows more grip through the rear wheel, especially over rough terrain.
