Castelli Triathlon Chill Sleeves
When the heat is on and the temperature rises there is no better way of keeping cool than with Castelli Triathlon Chill Sleeves. Designed for hot training rides and races, the sleeves use an innovative and new Prosecco Ice fabric to keep your body temperature down and keep you performing at your best.
Traditional arm coolers just use a Xylitol treatment. This gives a placebo effect, tricking your body into thinking its being cooled while it really does nothing to cool your body down. With the Castelli Triathlon Chill Sleeves the Prosecco Ice fabric works to evaporate heat and paired with the Xylitol, to provide you with the placebo, the fabric turns invisible when warm. Changing colours reminds you to tip water over the sleeves to keep them moist. Gradual cooling can then take place as the nylon based fabric can slowly allow the evaporation process to take effect.
Protecting you from the sun's rays, the UPF 50 protection keeps harmful UV rays off your skin.
