As part of the first collection from David Millar's CHPT3 range, the 1.81 Sleeveless Base Layer is designed to be a super-lightweight layer that wicks moisture away from the skin allowing it to evaporate.

The ultra-stylish pattern on the base layer is inspired by the parametric patterns created by Millar's performance data from stage 17 of the 2014 Vuelta.

CHPT3 1.81 Sleeveless Base Layer

Staying cool and comfortable on a ride is of the utmost importance and the CHPT3 1.81 Sleeveless Base Layer's designer, David Millar, certainly knows this. The microfibre construction of the base layer means it is as soft and light as it could possibly be.

The base layer's hydrophilic outer layer wicks moisture off the skin and out to the jersey without absorbing any moisture along the way. The base layer is perfect when combined with the CHPT3 1.21 Jersey.

David Millar: "The coloured design is taken from parametric patterns created from the data (a combination of my heart rate, watts, speed, distance etc.) of one of my final races, stage 17 at the 2014 Vuelta a Espana. The neck is a little rounder than normal, more like a vest than a t-shirt, this compensates for the higher necks of the 1.21 and 1.61. I chose a sleeveless cut as this and the 1.21 Jersey are designed to be used together, sleeves on an undershirt can often be more uncomfortable with a short sleeve jersey.”

PLEASE NOTE: The CHPT3 1.81 Sleeveless Base Layer follows the same inch sizes as you would see when purchasing a shirt as this helps to provide a more personalised fit.
