The Cannondale Synapse Carbon Disc Ultegra Womens Road Bike has been designed as a do-it-all endurance bike, built to excel across a range of conditions and terrains, no matter the gradient or distance ahead.

The updated Synapse Women's frameset utilises cutting edge technology to offer the ultimate in fast, comfortable performance. The BallisTec carbon fibre construction is lightweight and stiff, whilst remaining extremely tough and durable. Featuring Cannondale's signature SAVE micro-suspension technology, comfort is kept at the forefront of the design, effectively absorbing unwanted road feedback before it is transferred through to the rider. The geometry suits the bikes intended application perfectly, offering a semi-aggressive position, balancing speed and comfort, for fast, long days in the saddle.

Versatility is also a huge factor in this bikes success; with many desiring one bike for every application these days, the Synapse provides the perfect solution. The frameset has been designed to accommodate large tyres, right up to 32mm, whilst still accepting full-length mudguards, perfect for winter commuting.

The Shimano Ultegra hydraulic groupset offers the crisp, quick shifting expected from Shimano's second best mechanical groupset, whilst the hydraulic brakes ensure high levels of performance, regardless of the external conditions, for a confidence inspiring ride all-year-round. Combining a Cannondale Si 50/34t chainset with a wide 11-32t cassette, the gear range is broad enough for all eventualities, whether it be climbing a steep, alpine ascent or pushing out of a fast, flat corner.

Featuring a pair of Mavic Aksium wheels and Schwalbe Lugano folding tyres, rolling resistance is kept to a minimum. The Aksium wheelset utilises a low rim profile for cross-wind stability, with the sealed hub bearings providing four season durability. The 28mm wide tyres also aid the bikes overall performance, increasing grip and comfort to levels simple unattainable with narrower variants.

The remainder of the bike's specification is made up of Cannondale's own women's specific parts, designed to complement a female frame for unrivalled comfort and efficiency. The contact points between rider and bike have also been well thought out, with the gel bar tape and Selle Royal Seta S1 saddle helping to eliminate numbness, allowing enjoyable riding from dawn through to dusk.
