Despite the last SuperSix Evo frameset winning countless awards and race wins, Cannondale were not satisfied so have come back this year with a lighter, stiffer and smoother Cannondale SuperSix Evo Hi-Mod Road Frameset for 2016.

As other manufacturers have looked to pigeon hole their bikes into certain categories, Cannondale have produced the best all round bike, which for consumers makes the most sense.

The Hi-Mod Ballistec carbon fibre has had weight shaved off it, whilst being manipulated so that each area of it performs perfectly. The chainstays and seatstays have been redeveloped to give the perfect balance of vertical compliance for comfort with supreme lateral stiffness to respond when you put your foot down.

Cannondale's carbon fibre fork is also brand new. One piece design again tunes up the balance of vertical and lateral compliance. Here a 6.1% increase in lateral rigidity combines with a 12.5% augmentation in compliance.

The bottom bracket area, and the seat tube as a whole, are areas that have also been targeted for performance enhancing rigidity with the tube flaring to an oversized bottom bracket.

Aerodynamics have definitely not been overlooked with the truncated aero profile shapes of the tubes cheating the wind at no compromise.
