Cannondale Scalpel-Si Carbon 3 Mountain Bike 2017
Whether you're racing or just looking to enjoy the freedom of off-road riding, the Cannondale Scalpel-Si Carbon 3 Mountain Bike 2017 has the components, features and geometry to ensure you have a fun, comfortable and fast riding experience.
The BallisTec Hi-MOD Carbon frame layup features a geometry that has been honed for the highest level of XC competition. Short chainstays for traction and agility, a slack head angle for stability at speed and tight “trail” measurement for nimble handling at slower speeds - make this the perfect choice for the modern XC rider.
Integrated with this frame is Cannondale's iconic Lefty 2.0 fork, which offers 100mm of travel as well as advanced XLoc Full Sprint remote lockout technology for rapid lockout when you need it. RockShox supplies the rear suspension with their Monarch XX unit with 100mm of travel.
Shimano's XT hydraulic disc brakes assure confidence-inspiring stopping power while the blend of Shimano XT and XTR components in the 11-speed groupset provide a wide range of gears - capable of conquering the toughest climbs and fastest descents.
The 29er wheel size is associated with speed, stability and control and with the Stan's NoTubes ZTR CREST wheels you have the option to convert to a tubeless setup. Also including are the Schwalbe Racing Ralph EVO Snakeskin tyres, which provide traction and control over anything from loose stand to sharp rock gardens.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
