Cannondale CAAD12 Disc 105 Road Bike 2018
Agile, fast and nimble, Cannondale have designed their CAAD12 Disc 105 Road Bike to boast performances near equal to that of carbon bikes. Constructed with top of the line technology to forge a frame that is ultralight, combined with the reliability of hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano 105 gearing, this bike is an ideal step up for those wanting to venture further into the spectrum of road riding.
Boasting a great strength to weight ratio, the CAAD12 frame uses SmartFormed premium C1 alloy, offering a low weight aluminium frame of 1094 grams, competitive with carbon. Ensuring each rider input is rewarded with agile speed and rigid power outputs, the optimised tube shaping features an oversized bottom bracket, asymmetric chainstays and a flared seat tube that supports high loaded pedal strokes with minimal flex.
Inheriting technology from their Synapse model, Cannondale have introduced the SPEED SAVE design to their racing frame. Described as "micro-suspension", this technology allows the forks and chainstays to provide just enough flex to dampen road vibrations without affecting the lateral or torsional stiffness. This unique tubing increases the ride quality of the bike and is set to tackle an array of road surfaces with unrelenting comfort.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
