Extensive work with professional cyclists has led to the development of the innovative Campagnolo Record Dual Pivot Skeleton Brake Calipers.

Dual pivot brakes have seen a dramatic improvement in rim braking performance, and it is great to see them on offer here at Campagnolo's second tier at a more accessible price.

This pair of brake calipers feature a dual pivot action on the front and rear, unlike the differential set. This enhances the response you get when pulling your brake leavers to give you an immediate and highly effective stopping power. Having both as dual pivot keeps braking forces split equally between the front and rear.

Weight was a priority target for the engineers, leading to the skeleton geometry. This came from a basic tectonic concept with the aim of using as little material as possible to give the same performance by positioning the material at the maximum distance with regard to the neutral bending axis of the section considered. This maximises the weight to rigidity balance and has lead to Campagnolo not only being able to save weight, but actually improve braking reliability.
