The only differences come in the material choices which mean you can get a fantastic performance derailleur at a competitive price. You are still getting a carbon fibre front plate though that gives this derailleur a fantastic look as well as emphasising its racing pedigree.
New for 2015 are the aluminium fixing bolts that save weight whilst also giving the derailleur an extended life expectancy. Also new are the internal and external components to allow the mechanism to move at a different angle as well as allowing the chain to run closer to the cassette to optimise power transmission.
Quality and speed of shifting are guaranteed thanks to Ultra-Shift™ geometry parallelogram. This reduces any potential play whilst maintaining superb stiffness. Ultra-Shift™ also allows you to move the chain simultaneously up three sprockets and then down five with lightening speed thanks to a specific motion on the shifter.
