Partnering with GORE-TEX, 7mesh has taken advantage of their Active material, which provides breathability otherwise not found in waterproof jackets, allowing you to push yourself to your limits without overheating.

The SHAKEDRY technology stops water from penetrating, making it bead up on the slippery surface, but also keeps weight down by pushing the water away from you. A few quick shakes and the water falls off.

A built-in stuff/storage pocket further reduces weight by doing away with an external storage pocket. Used as a regular storage pocket when not in use, the jacket can fold down to the size of your palm, packing away neatly into a rear jersey pocket.

When you’re mid-race, reaching for your nutrition supplies in your jersey pocket is nigh-on impossible when wearing a regular wind/rain cape.
