The A:1's SCS coating accounts for the suit's superb hydrodynamics. This microfilm silicone coating reduces friction with the surface of the water. This means that you spend less energy in propelling yourself through the water; energy you can then utilise in the bike and run sections of your race.
The A:1 features Concave Water Entrapment zones on both of the forearms that increase your propulsion, leading to more distance per stroke. The integrated floating zip panel allows for extended reach and greater hydrodynamic efficiency, so you don't have to worry about fumbling for the zipper when you are running up the ramp to T1.
