Events and Partnerships Manager (FULL-TIME)


Reports to - Head of Marketing

Over the last 25 years Sigma Sport has established itself as a premium retailer within the Road Cycling and Triathlon industry, with a passion for sourcing quality products and providing excellent levels of customer service. As we continue to grow we are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial events and partnerships manager to join our growing team.


As part of a fast growing marketing team you’ll be at the forefront of Sigma Sport’s events and partnerships program. Increasing engagement with our customers by managing and executing a unique, industry leading events and partnerships strategy.

  • Event strategy and planning - Work with 3rd parties and partners to build a series of highly engaging and distinctive events which support the overall marketing strategy
  • Event delivery - manage all event logistics from conception to delivery
  • Sponsored athlete liaison - be the point of contact for all Sigma Sport supported teams and athletes
  • Partnership activation - Ensure all marketing partnerships and sponsorships are delivered to agreed standards and be point of contact for 3rd parties
  • Pre Event Communications - work with marketing and content teams to promote events / activations
  • Demo / Hire fleet management - day to day running of extensive demo fleet, including booking calendars, promotion and end of season sales
  • Manage off site retails events - from concept to execution, liaising with all key stakeholders throughout the process
  • Manage inbound marketing requests, providing initial assessment of opportunity and timely response
  • Coordinate seasonal merchandising initiatives, including store and online point of sale/displays
  • Manage internal communications to keep all stakeholders up to date on planned event activity
  • Reporting - Provide head of departments with regular communications and information on performance of above activities


  • University Graduate (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in events management role within similar organisation
  • Live and breathe road cycling and/or triathlon
  • Passion and understanding of how to engage with consumers through event marketing
  • Entrepreneurial, a self starter, able to manage multiple projects at any time
  • Experience of event management and budgeting
  • Passionate about marketing and keen to learn and develop new skills
  • Ready to make an impact on the brand
  • Willing to work weekends and evenings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Commitment to the organisation’s mission and goals


We offer a competitive salary, dependant on experience.


Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm (some weekend and evening work required)
