Sportful’s R&D range pushes the boundaries of performance. Designed using the latest technology, this range is developed with the help of their professional teams and athletes.
New for 2017, the R&D Cima Short Sleeve Jersey is a super-lightweight (115 gram) summer jersey that has been designed to excel in the heat and when the road rises. A stretch woven fabric has been used to offer excellent moisture management and breathability, keeping you cool on even the hottest rides.
This material also supports the body, stretching where needed to provide a sublime ergonomic, pro fit. Comfort is addressed with minimal seams. Constructing the jersey in this way improves the feel of the fabric next to the skin. The result: a jersey that is fast enough to race in but comfortable enough for all day comfort.
Flapping fabrics are a thing of the past, with the Sportful R&D Cima Short Sleeve Jersey features raw-cut sleeves. Keeping the sleeves in place, internal silicone bands are a welcome addition.

R&D Cima Bib Short
Complimenting this striking jersey is the R&D Cima Bib Short. Developed in conjunction with Peter Sagan and the Tinkoff Team at the Tour de France last year. This stage winning design came into its own on the baking hot July stages through the French Alps.
Keeping the Tinkoff riders cool even when the pace was hot last year, the likes of Contador and Majka benefited from the cutting-edge design. With sponsor's commitments, the pro's had a logo added to the rear of the short. For those not racing a grand tour, a perforated mesh lined back insert has been added. The result, a bib short offering even more breathability than even the professional riders are accustomed to. This stops that uncomfortable moist patch from forming on the lower portion of the back and draws away whatever moisture that does build, ensuring you’re dry and comfortable on the bike.
Aerodynamic and form fitting, the short uses an Aero-Stretch fabric on the lower legs to promote breathability. This section is paired with raw-cut endings to offer excellent next to skin comfort.
Supportive bib straps, taken from the BodyFit Pro LTD Bib Short, lie flat and prevent chafing and pressure points from forming. The TC Pro seat pad, now with aesthetic updates, is the same, renowned pad that is used in the company’s team-issue shorts. This pad offers 13 millimetres of padding and has been designed to offer sublime levels of airflow.
