Trek Crockett Cyclocross Frameset 2016
The Trek Crockett 5 Disc Cyclocross Bike 2016 is all about winning. Trek are winning the battle to produce the best cyclocross frames at every level so that you can win come race day. This Crockett manages to combine speed, stability and comfort in a lightweight package so that even when you are off it and running it will ensure you have the edge over the opposition.
These features, combined with the durability that comes from its 200 Series Alpha Aluminium with vanishing mudguard mounts also make it stand out as a dependable, fast and comfortable commuter bike.
The cyclocross specific IsoSpeed fork adds comfort and refines steering. This carbon fibre addition sits beautifully with the 200 Series Alpha aluminium frame, which features an E2 tapered head tube and internal cable routing to give the frameset a clean, uncluttered look.
Keeping the stunning pink paint scheme in pristine condition, Trek have added a 3S chain keeper and hidden mudguard mounts.
The BB86.5 bottom bracket is a reliable option and the FSA integrated headset houses sealed cartridge bearings. A neat touch to prevent water and dirt from damaging the frameset.
This is the rim brake ready version of this Crockett. A disc brake version is also available.
