Trek Crockett 5 Disc Cyclocross Bike 2017
Think you need a carbon fibre cyclocross bike to win races? Think again. The Trek Crockett 5 Disc Cyclocross Bike 2017 has a World Cup winning pedigree with a frameset that is constructed with 200 Series Alpha Aluminium that remains stiff, strong and lightweight whether you’re taking hairpin bends at speed or lugging the bike on your shoulder.
Using Shimano 105 to handle the immense shifting power needed for cyclocross, the gear changes are split second and highly reliable. Shimano 105 is also used for its mechanical nature, meaning if you get a mechanical halfway round the course, you can run it to the pits and quickly perform essential maintenance before heading off again.
Disc brakes are also included in the Crockett 5 Disc and Trek has used the Hayes CX 5 mechanical disc brakes. These disc brakes are high-performing, allowing you to hit the corners and the straights with confidence, safe in the knowledge you’ll be stopping at the end.
Bontrager CX3 Team Issue tyres provide ample levels of grip and puncture protection, ensuring you can keep beating around the course without sliding off in a bend or puncturing in more technical sections.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
