Trek Boone 7 Disc Cyclocross Bike 2017
Everything from the 600 Series OCLV frame to the SRAM Force CX1 rear derailleur has been addressed to increase performance, comfort and durability with the Trek Boone 7 Disc Cyclocross Bike 2017 - and boy, does it deliver.
Trek have incorporated their CX race geometry into the Boone 7 Disc, which delivers an optimal balance of comfort and aggression, making it ideal for attacking the steep climbs and manoeuvring through bunches of riders. The geometry is backed up by the lightweight and stiff 600 Series OCLV Carbon frame with IsoSpeed technology, that offers next level compliance on rough terrain without affecting any of the power transfer.
IsoSpeed is Trek’s revolutionary decoupler design that separates the seatpost from the frame, allowing it to move independently in a lateral motion, without providing too much vertical compliance. IsoSpeed is also integrated into the Trek IsoSpeed Cross carbon disc fork and the Bontrager Race Lite IsoZone handlebar. These two components complement each other, working in unison to absorb terrain discrepancies, giving you a more comfortable ride and reducing any pressure on your palms.
Trek have equipped the Boone 7 Disc to the brim with SRAM Force hydraulic disc brakes, and SRAM Force CX1 gearing. This groupset is revered as one of the most high-performing gearing and braking systems in the cyclocross world due to its quick shifting response, durability and one-by front chainring that stops any chain slippage.
Bontrager Affinity Elite Tubeless Ready wheels and Bontrager CX3 Team Issue 700x32c tyres combine to enhance grip and traction in tricky situations, such as tight hairpin bends on sloppy mud and short, steep climbs where others choose to run. As both the wheelset and tyres are tubeless ready, you’ll be able to convert to a punctureless system as and when you feel like it, which also allows for lower pressures to be run which provides even greater grip.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
