The new kid on the cycling block at the moment is disc brakes, providing precision braking performance, unparalleled modulation and great mud-shedding capabilities. Specialized recognised this and created the CruX Disc range.

A tapered headtube enhances ride quality, offers responsive feedback and allows for an aggressive position.

Specialized E5 Premium Aluminium has been used, both incredibly strong and lightweight.

Major development has been invested in the new OSBB bottom bracket, one-piece shell. Stiffer than any previous Specialized cyclocross frames, giving direct and uncompromised power delivery straight through the pedals onto the road. No watts will be wasted with this frame. This is the same one-piece shell that is used in the sensational Tarmac road range.

This aluminium frame has had a lightweight and stiff FACT Carbon fork added. This results in a ride offering direct steering, comfort and pin sharp handling.

The frame has also been internally cabled, keeping the mud at bay and keeping the cable from snagging on trees or other debris. It also gives a clean look to the already stunning looking bike.

Mud is this frames friend, as generous tyre clearance has been added to the fork as well as widely spaced, chunky seat stays.

Specialized continue the aluminium theme with Comp handlebars, stem and a Sport alloy seatpost. Everything is covered leaving you ready to hit the trails.

Trundling over the trails need not be uncomfortable with the inclusion of a supportive and well padded Specialized Body Geometry Phenom Comp Saddle that includes hollow Cr-Mo rails for added strength.

Shimano have added their smooth shifting, responsive and reliable 105 11-speed groupset and TRP, the braking specialists, have adorned the bike with HY/RD hydraulic discs.

An FSA Gossamer BB30 Crankset is both attractive and stiff, ideal for powerful surges in pedalling.

Wheels are AXIS 2.0 Discs. Strong, fast and durable. Specialized have developed the Tracer Sport Tyre specifically for cyclocross bikes, offering exceptional grip, puncture resilience and a low rolling resistance.

Featuring an elegant white, black and blue colour scheme. This results in a stunning and beautifully looking bike, so nice in fact you may think twice about taking it off road and getting it muddy!
