The Shimano Dura-Ace 9000 C24 Clincher Rear Wheel is a rear wheel compatible with rim braking and 8, 9, 10 and 11 speed Shimano set-ups. Technologically advanced and offering performance improvements, this wheel spins up nicely and offers you the small efficiencies that allow you to ride further and faster.
At the centre of it all, a cold forged machined aluminium hub shell houses an oversized 7075 alloy axle, and when combined with a titanium freehub body, you can be assured that weight is kept to a minimum. Equipped with alloy cone bearings, with integrated steel Borozon treated bearing races, all boasting a super mirror finish in order to reduce friction, you can be sure that resistance is low.
Arcing out from the hub, 20 stainless steel butted straight pull spokes mount into a full carbon rim ensuring a high degree of lateral rigidity, transforming into less energy wasted when you sway that bike up the climb. With weight savings made by virtue of a 0.7mm anodised rim wall, bonding carbon fibre to alloy to provide that all important clincher braking surface.
Quick and easy to maintain and supplied with a quick release skewer, this wheel weighs just 809 grams, making it a super light, stiff and compliant addition to your bike.
