Rudy Project Rydon Sunglasses ImpactX 2 Photochromic Lens
Rudy Project has unified seamless advanced design technology and material science to produce the Rudy Project Rydon Sunglasses with ImpactX 2 Photochromic Lenses. The lenses themselves are created from ImpactX 2 polymers. This is the same material used for the windscreens of Boeing 747 commercial jets and Apache attack helicopters because of its unrivalled strength, durability and clarity.
Built into this superior lens material is a photochromic technology. This means the lenses can adjust their tint to match the light conditions. Anywhere from 16 to 75% of light can be allowed through the lenses, making these the ideal glasses for year-round use. Rudy Project's RP-D centred optics in the lenses ensure clear and crisp vision both centrally and in your peripheral vision.
This cutting-edge lens technology combines with a lightweight frame that is so light, it is easy to forget that you are wearing the glasses. The carbonium frame is combined with unique aerospatial aluminium alloy temple arms to bring the glasses' weight down to 25 grams without negatively effecting strength or durability.
Covering the temples is a grippy silicone. This combines with the adjustable nose gripper to maintain the glasses' position on your face through vigorous activity.
