Riders looking to lay down some serious power in the most efficient way will love the new Rotor QXL Inner Chainring 110BCD 4 Bolt Shimano. Rotor was not happy to sit back once they had produced the revolutionary ovalised Q ring, instead they poured time and resources into making them better, which resulted in QXL. Ideally suited to more powerful riders who put down large watts with regular out-of-the-saddle efforts, these are the Q rings of choice. For this, an increased ovality is required to make the most of their pedal stroke. This shape reduces the areas of negative work (dead spots) in their pedal revolution than they would get from the traditional Q ring shape.

CNC machining from Aircraft grade 7075 T6 anodised aluminium gives you superb shifting and perfect rotations mile after mile. The big talking point here is the ovalisation, but do not ignore the ramped and pinned design for the ultimate shifting performance. The shaping was discovered to utilise your strongest muscles, whilst compensating for weaker ones, by varying drivetrain resistance thus allowing you to save up to four seconds per kilometre.
