As the most advanced aerobar that Profile Design have ever created, the Aeria Wing Carbon Aerobar System T4 42 cm has certainly turned heads. Fully UCI compliant with a 3:1 aerodynamic wing, this aerobar has zero drop from clamp to brake extension. This creates shorter reach, improved aerodynamics, and ultimately better control.
Profile Design's stackable risers have been the envy of the industry for the past few seasons so their integration into the Aeria's design is certainly welcome. The risers (sold separately) allow you to fine-tune your armrest/extension height in 5mm increments.
The integrated extension bracket also boosts comfort and aerodynamic performance without a weight penalty. The patent-pending fixture system combines the extension clamp with the attachment of the brackets to the wing. This creates less drag while also reducing corrosion issues that arise from exposed bolts.
Comfort is embodied by the F-35c carbon armrests. These armrests allow for three-times fore and aft positioning providing 30mm of adjustment while also allowing for 15˚ of rotation. The comfortable foam provides lasting support and comfort and is removable for cleaning.
Profile Design's much sought after T4+ extensions offer a single neutral wrist angle with low extension height for better aerodynamics.
Constructed from uni-directional carbon, this aerobar is strong and light and weighs in at just 663 grams.
